(WATCH) #ISIS Released A Video Of Dozens Of Yazidis Converting To Islam In Order To Avoid Execution.

Image
The Islamic State (ISIS) recently released a video of dozens of Yazidis converting to Islam in order to avoid execution. Our leaders and the media continue to assure us that the actions of ISIS have nothing to do with Islam. Yet when we open the Muslim sources, we find Muhammad commanding his followers to fight people until they convert to Islam. How can obeying Muhammad’s commands have nothing to do with Islam? The so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has said to Christian that they must convert to Islam, leave their home, or die. People around the world are now using the Arabic letter Ù† (nun) to show support for Iraqi Christians being persecuted for their faith. Already hundreds are dead, and more than 400,000 men, women and children have been driven from their homes. But if we can convince our leaders to make religious persecution in Iraq a priority, we can save many lives. Show your support for the Christian Iraqi Christians by changing your cover photo to the Ù†

BOKO HARAM WINNING THE WAR? : Boko Haram Takes Over Bama Hoists Flag In The City Center

Image
Reports emerging from Bama, in Borno State, indicate that Boko Haram militants have taken over control of the city. The state’s second-largest city was attacked earlier today by the militants.  That first attack was initially repelled by Nigerian troops, but the militants appear to have returned in greater force, leading some of the soldiers to follow fleeing civilians in an effort to escape.  Residents are saying tonight that Boko Haram has completely overrun the city and hoisted its flag in the city center. A Nigeria military statement credited to General Chris Olukolade didn’t offer much hope for Bama, as the terse statement merely stated that the attack on Bama was “being repelled.”  An intelligence source said reinforcements were underway to Bama from Maiduguri, but our own sources said only a few soldiers, in four armored tanks, were seen near Yezaram River.  He added that the unit was in no way capable of re-taking Bama from the militants. SaharaReporters had

A new trend is emerging with the outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease in some West African countries as hackers now use the epidemic to launch phishing attacks on unsuspecting victims. With the disease spreading to more countries and cities in the region, leading cyber security firm, Cyberoam has warned that hackers are using news and informations about the disease to hack into people’s computers. Christ Embassy’s new website now shows only Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, with a broad smile welcoming his followers to the month of August, and tagging it, ‘Month of Praise’. •Chris Oyakhilome •Anita Oyakhilome In the message on the website, Oyakhilome also urges his followers to “rejoice for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Also, on the website of the Rhapsody of Realities, a daily devotional co-authored

SO WICKED: Photos: Child labour - Young girl made to wash truck everyday

Image
Child abuse is not only when you hit a child, giving them hard labour is also part of child abuse. And I consider asking a young girl to wash a truck this big every day as hard labour. According to a LIB reader, one of her neighbours makes a young girl who lives with them who she says is between 12-15 years, to wash their truck either at night or in the morning...every single day. She says passersby only watch and complain but nobody has done anything about it. They believe her life is at risk because she tries to manage her space as other vehicles pass. This is happening at Kings Avenue, Ben Mill Road, Ogodu Berger, in case the authorities want to look into it. Or are there people who think this is OK? See more photos below
