In a recent interview with  Hello Beautiful , 47 year old actress and mother of two Garcelle Beauvais said she's shocked at how women in entertainment show too much skin these days and says Beyonce can still be sexy without going overboard. "For me, there's so many ways to be sexy without being overt about it. As I get older, I still want to be sexy, but I want to do it in a different way. I want to do it in a way that’s more classy. Certain things are just too overt for kids. I love Beyonce. I love her. I think she’s beautiful and talented. But, I think there has to be a fine line where you have to take responsibility for what you do. I think it’s good to be sexy, but sexy can come across in so many different ways. It doesn’t have to be everything showing, out grinding all of the time."

A Nigerian student studying in Ghana has been found murdered. Godwin Ayogu (pictured above), a 300level student of Social Sciences at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana was killed by unknown person/s and his body dumped by the roadside. Godwin, said to be in his early 20s, was last seen on Tuesday February 18th at the university. His body was found on Wednesday February 19th.  According to his friends, Godwin, who was the first child of his parents, had been planning to return to Nigeria on Wednesday to spend time with his family when his body was found. The Ghanaian police say they are investigating the case, but many of his friends fear the case will be swept under the carpet so they reached out to the Nigerian media. Will bring an update later...

Nigerian singer  Eniola Akinbo , popularly known as  Niyola , has been involved in a car accident. Niyola, sources say, was driving from Lekki, Lagos, where she had just finished a meeting, in a  Honda CRV on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at about 7PM. Niyola had just exited the third mainland bridge on her way to the mainland area of Lagos when the accident occurred at the Oworonshoki axis. Source was reliably informed that a vehicle which was trying to overtake Niyola’s car hit her CRV from behind, which sent the latter’s car tumbling. The car is said to have tumbled three times before hitting a tree by the roadside. The EME first lady was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Honda CRV has also been towed away from the accident spot. A rep of the singer’s has confirmed the accident and also confirmed that the singer wasn’t driving alone but with a friend. The other passenger is said to also be doing fine. ‘ Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay.

Personally, I think the police should start arresting people who inflict such injuries on others. Call it 'attempted murder' or something like that and lock them up for at least a year. How can anyone be so heartless to do this to another human being? A female lawyer based in Calabar Cross River State, Florence Ujinka, was picked up and interrogated by the police for torturing her 13 year old househelp, Chidera Asonye Nathaniel. Florence is reported to have used an old fan belt to inflict marks on young Chidera. The woman was reported to the police by a Child Rights Group called Basic Rights Counsel Initiative in Calabar, who revealed that since the woman and her husband brought Chidera from Anambra state to Calabar in 2012 to serve as their househelp, Mrs Ujinka had repeatedly subjected the young boy to torture and inhuman treatment.

HELPS FROM HELL INITIATIVE I won't bore you with too much details but essentially my family was robbed in April 2013 and my husband had a close shave with death after being attacked by armed robbers in our home. Everything we worked for over the few years before the robbery was taken away in one night. They came with a car and took everything away. Two months later, little did I know that this whole ordeal had only just begun, we had to rush my husband to the hospital for a major borehole operation on his head. He had been haemorrhaging internally since he was struck during the robbery. He did complain of headaches but no one thought it was anything that serious until he started to loose mobility in one side of his body, speech was no longer coherent, he lost bowel control and could barely recognise anyone. He had to be moved around in a wheel chair and I can easily tell you that was one of the most scary experience of my life.

It seems a presenter with Rhythm 93.7 Lagos has been laughing at Toke Makinwa's flat b00bs secretly and he has also been waiting for her to say anything that'll upset him so he can wash her thoroughly. Social media giant Facebook was forced to issue an apology today after its new £10billion acquisition, WhatsApp, went down for nearly three hours. The team behind the instant messaging app, which was snapped up by Facebook on Thursday, revealed the fault was caused by 'server issues'. The popular application's chat conversations - used by more than 450 million people across the world each month - showed a loading asterisk and alert, 'Connecting...' while the problems persisted. WhatsApp used its @wa-status account to tweet at 8:16pm: 'Sorry we currently experiencing server issues. We hope to be back up and recovered shortly.' At 10.48pm it announced the problems had been fixed, tweeting: 'WhatsApp service has been restored. We are so sorry for the downtime...'
