A 45-year-old man, Travis Austin Joy, found himself in major trouble after he moved out of his home recently and forgot to take his video camera along with him. His old roommate found it while cleaning, and after seeing the seven disgusting videos on it, he immediately alerted police to what he had found. He was arrested for allegedly filming seven videos that show him involved in sexual acts with a horse and three dogs. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said that Travis Austin Joy, a three-time convicted felon, made those videos between October 2012 and February 2014. I borrowed $75m because PDP looted the treasury — Oshiomhole

Image
Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has said that his government was forced to take a $75 million development loan from the World Bank, because the Federal Government led by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 16 years had looted the nation’s treasury and pauperized the states. He said it was a good thing that President Muhammadu Buhari came at the right time to stop the liquidation of the country. The World Bank had approved a $225 million loan for Edo State Government in 2012, to be implemented in three tranches of $75 million per annum. The first tranche of the loan was approved by the National Assembly in the 2012-2014 Federal Government External Rolling Borrowing Plan, while the second tranche was approved by the National Assembly, last week. Addressing reporters at the Government House on Sunday, Mr. Oshiomhole said “If the PDP did not steal the money, we would not need to borrow. What we lost from the NLNG under the PDP Federal Government was about $11.

Image
Just like we earlier stated today in our first post on this gubernatorial tribunal matter, today so far has been very dynamic as both the petitioner and the 3 respondents fought hard to prove their points and case. At the resumption of court today, the first issue that arose was the documents which the petitioner want to tender as evidence, the 3 respondents raised objections to the said documents and their objections was based on certification of the petitioners document. The respondents argued that the documents were not certified as expected by INEC, but the petitioners lawyer Prof. Awa Kalu countered their position and stated that the documents were certified as stipulated by the electoral act. After the arguments, the tribunal judges took time off to go through all the arguments and deliver their ruling.  At the return of the judges, THEY RULED THAT THE SAID DOCUMENT IS VALID AND WELL CERTIFIED . THE DOCUMENT WAS LABELED PB-01. Immediately after the r

President Buhari's Jobs Search - by Malam Garba Shehu

Image
President Buhari's Jobs Search written by Garba Shehu, SSA Media & Publicity to Pres. Buhari The ongoing ministerial briefing of the President at the State House, Abuja, put a spotlight on an important sector long neglected by previous administrations, yet one that can create millions of jobs. The first briefing of a President by the Ministry of Science and Technology and its parastatal organization, the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI, over a period of many years showcased opportunities and the enormous achievements made in the invention, fabrication and assembly of capital products for the sustainable industrialization of the country. A matter for serious concern for President Muhammadu Buhari, who campaigned on a promise to create jobs is the paucity of investments in industry, without which there can be no new jobs or incomes. Experts have warned a long time ago that Nigeria has been frittering away its demographic dividend.
