"One of the biggest of suppliers of arms and military uniforms to the JAS (Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, better known as Boko Haram) currently lives in Cairo, Egypt. He is the recipient of money sent by political sponsors from Nigeria. The funds go through the CBN’s financial system and appear to be a legal transaction. Meanwhile, the CBN official who handles the funding is an uncle to three of those arrested in connection with the Nyanya bombings. The three boys

Sex, better form of exercise than jogging –Study

Image
Sex is often seen as pleasurable to both men and women. Experts have always claimed a lot of energy goes into sexual activities, thus making sex a form 0f exercise. A new study has however discovered that lots of calories could be burnt via sex, thus making it a better form of exercise than jogging or running. Researchers have found out that the energy expended during sex, when compared to running, could get the hearts to pump and muscles to crank enough to qualify as a moderate form of exercise. According to them, a 25-minute session of sex, burns more calories, which is a unit of energy, than having a walk. A study by Anthony Karelis, a professor of Exercise Science at the University of Quebec, Canada, and his colleagues, which looked at how much energy is actually exerted during sex and compared it with other forms of body exercise, showed that having sex is better than working out or jogging. The research further showed that one hour of sex (based on the premis

Dear Gistarena readers: Should I cover my husband's sin?

Image
from a female Gistarena reader I have been married for 10+ years and thought I was happily married till some weeks ago. From the fourth year into my marriage my mom advised us to take on 2 female relatives. One was 22 and the other 13 at that time. In 2010, we noticed that the older of the girls had become so close to my husband to the point that anyone could easily conclude they were intimate. She became rude to me but got closer to my husband and he never saw anything wrong with her attitude. He would take her to school (UNILAG) and pick her up regularly. He would gladly buy the exact items for her and myself whenever he traveled. Several times he gave her large sums without my consent or knowledge but thankfully it all came out through her mom.  He blurted out once that she had STD and I was quite embarrassed that he would know that about her if nothing was going on. In the end we decided she couldn't go on living in my house and my mom came to take her away her even
