Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted leaving Saint Tropez's exclusive club Le Quai in the early hours of Monday.  After leaving he was caught urinating in front of an ice cream store in the upmarket old harbour area of Saint Tropez as his friends stood guard nearby. Despite trying to hide behind a car, port security guard agents were quick to spot the star, and immediately asked him to move on from the area. He wasn't arrested, he only got a warning.  

The impeached governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako who returned to the country over the weekend from a self imposed exile after he was impeached in July 2014, is currently being interrogated by EFCC officials in Abuja. According to Sahara Reporters, Nyako turned himself in to the anti-graft agency earlier today June 1st. He is being interrogated over allegations bordering on financial impropriety and gross misconduct which are the reasons why he was impeached from office.

In a bid to find a lasting solution to the continued attacks by Boko Haram members, President Buhari will on Wednesday June 3rd visit Niger Republic and on Thursday June 4th visit Chad where he is expected to hold talks with the Presidents of both countries. Spokesperson to President Buhari, Shehu Garba in a statement he released today said;   "Buhari will go to Niger Republic on Wednesday and will spend a night there before proceeding to Chad the next day (Thursday)." In a related development, President Buhari earlier today had a closed door meeting with the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki(retd.).at the Defence House in Abuja. The meeting is believed to have bothered on the renewed attacks by the sect members in Maiduguri as well as discuss on the plans to relocate the military central command to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

An unidentified naval officer has been accused of beating up  Suleiman Hashimu, the man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja in honor of Pres. Buhari. According to twitter user, Elvis Iyongurum, the naval officer with 3 of his other colleagues in  Zone 1 Abuja got physical with Suleiman over issues on traffic obstruction in Abuja today June1st.

An American killed in a lion attack at Lion Park in South Africa was dragged to her death in mere minutes. The unidentified 22-year-old woman was dragged to her death and another person seriously hurt after the pair left their window down during the drive-thru African safari. The woman was dragged out of the SUV by the lioness and her companion was injured as he tried to save her from the lion's jaws at Gauteng Lion Park near Johannesburg. The SUV   This incident happened in the middle of the afternoon. It's believed she had been trying to take pictures with the windows open when the lion attacked. Police confirmed that she was 22 years old and an American citizen and the US Embassy confirmed the incident has been reported to them. The park's manager Scott Simpson said: 'We don't know exactly what happened, we do know that there was a car driving to the lion camp and the lion did come through the window and it did bite the lady. 

Tajudeen Awoniyi, a herbalist residing in Oyo state has been arrested by men of the Oyo state police command for repeatedly having sex with two of his daughters and two of his nieces all aged 14, 15, 15 and 17 at his residence in Akinyele Local Government area in Oyo state. While being paraded today at the state police headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan, Tajudeen denied the allegations but his denial was countered by the statements made against him by the young ladies. While recounting how he molested her, one of his nieces said ; "On that fateful day, his daughters came to our house and wanted us to follow them to their place. On getting there, her father told us he would give us soap by mid night which we must use to bathe. Around 1:00am he woke me up, gave me a black soap and asked me to go and take my bath.
