Kim & Kanye pre-nup: Kim to get $1m for each year they are married

Image
Kim Kardashian will get $1million for each year she stays married to Kanye West, this is according to their pre-nup agreement which is in the final stages, Radar Online reports. "The entire process for the prenup for Kim and Kanye has been extremely easy, and relatively drama free. Kanye didn't even think the couple needed a prenup, and was ready to give Kim carte blanche to all of his financial assets. Yes, he loves Kim that much. There is a huge difference from Kim's prenup with Kris Humphries… the preparation of their agreement went on for several months. It was long and tedious." a source told Radar Online Minus the $1million, Kim will also get their Bel Air mansion, will keep all jewelry and gifts given to her by Kanye. Money she earns from her reality show, clothing line, & promotional appearances will be hers and hers alone. This is a similar pre-nup to what Jay Z and Beyonce have Gist Arena

You May Want To Know How Obasanjo’s Govt Spent $500m Abacha Loot

Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has explained how the Olusegun Obasanjo administration she was part of spent the loot recovered from the late maxiumn dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha. She said contrary to reports that the sum of $2bn was recovered from Abacha's loot, $500m was the actual amount recovered under her watch when she was first made finance minister. But while speaking in London in November 2006, the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, had said that "Abacha took over $6bn from Nigeria," and that $2bn of the loot had been recovered. Ribadu repeated the same figure in the same month during the 12th International Anti-Corruption Conference in Guatemela. Three months ago, Ribadu repeated the same claim in Dakar at the 2nd Annual High Level Dialogue on Governance and Democracy in Africa.

His friends hereby call on the international human right for proper justice and call for the removal of the useless ambassador to Malaysia for his uncaring attitude towards Nigerian as an ambassador. Read About The Lagos Bar Where Homosexuality Is The Order Of The Day

Image
There is no doubt that pockets of gay people in the country would be living in fear as a result of a recent law that criminalises homosexuality in Nigeria, with the possibility of 14 years imprisonment. But Saturday PUNCH investigation shows that a bar by the roadside in Agege, Lagos might be offering comfort to members of this community. Our correspondent visited the bar. Aware of how dangerous this kind of curiosity could be, our correspondent went under the guise of being a model looking for where to have fun and also "organise" young men and women for his homosexual clients. The bar, which is located next to a popular petrol station in the area, brings to mind the popular saying that the best way to hide anything is to put it in plain sight. Dressed casually to blend with the crowd, our correspondent learnt on getting to the bar that a 24-year-old young man owns and runs the place.

Despite Boko Haram killings, Nigerian Government deploys 820 new NYSC corps members to Borno

Image
Despite the killing of hundreds of people in Borno in the last one month by the outlawed Boko Haram sect, the National Youth Service Corps has deployed 820 new corps members to the state. The deployment was disclosed by Margaret Dakama, the Head, Public Relations Unit of NYSC in Gombe State. The NYSC is a mandatory one-year scheme by the Nigerian government for all Nigerian university and polytechnic graduates below 30 years. In a statement on Friday, Ms. Dakama said 1090 corps members were also deployed to Gombe. The newly deployed corps members are part of the 2014 Batch 'A' group while their orientation course will be held in Gombe. The statement said that Gombe, a neighbouring and safer state to Borno, was once again hosting corps members deployed to Borno for the three weeks orientation at Malam-Sidi Orientation Camp. Gombe State had also hosted the orientation course of the Borno 2013 batch 'C' corps members. According to the statement, the orientation wi

He Beat Me With Wire Until I Couldn’t Sit Anymore –Eight-Year-Old Housemaid

Image
It took a while to rouse eight-year-old Sophia Shaidu, as she lay on her stomach on a bed in the children's ward of the Aniyun Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos. The nurse who had taken our correspondent in to see her was happy that the girl could at least fall asleep after days of excruciating pains that kept her awake. "Some people are here to talk to you," she was told. Sophia spoke only Ebira language. She does not understand English; not even pidgin English because her guardian did not enrol her in school after she was brought to Lagos to work as a housemaid about three years ago. So, our correspondent was only able to speak to her through an interpreter. One thing was immediately clear when Sophia finally sat up with a considerable pain: dark marks dotted her body from her neck to her ankle. She hung her left arm awkwardly, which made her flinch at the nurse's touch. "We are planning to do an X-ray on the arm. It's likely she has a fracture there," the nurs

Please Don’t Abort This Democracy ––Presidency Begs Military

The federal government on Friday pleaded with the military not to interrupt governance in the country, just as it gave assurance that the problem of insurgency, communal clashes among other challenges would all soon be things of the past. Information minister, Labaran Maku, while handing over in Abuja, as Supervising Minister of Defence to the new minister, Gen. Aliyu Gusau, told the military not to consider the utterances against 2015 as well as Boko Haram fight especially by the Borno State governor, Kashim Shetima, saying that “even the state governor has the misfortune of discretion.” Begging the military not to take over power due to the insecurity in the country, he said: “We are already heading towards electoral situation and there have been a lot of utterance from within and outside the country. One great thing the armed forces will continue to do is to remain loyal to the constitution, Commander-In-Chief and the democratic system.” The minister expressed regrets that whi

Patience Ozokwor Wants You To Know Why Plays Bad And Wicked Role In Her Movies

Who doesn't love Patience Ozokwor? Personally, I rate her as my favorite Nollywood actress. Movie lovers call her Margaret Thatcher of Nollywood, but she is so tender and kind-hearted when she is not on set. Patience Ozokwor, aka Mama G, in a new interview with Yes magazine, explained why she usually plays wicked, evil woman roles. *.Why do you always take up the role of a bad woman in movies? People should admit that I have something to play! People are known for stunts, romance, bad boys and girls, gigolo and so on, but I have that as my strong point. It was when I was coming up that I thought I might get hurt or be hated for playing those roles but I never knew it was going to even make me popular and loved.

EXCLUSIVE: Nigerian federal lawmakers to spend N1.2 trillion on selves in six years as poverty mounts in country

Image
Nigerian federal lawmakers will retain a controversial yearly budget of N150 billion for at least two more years according to the government's spending outlay, in yet another indication the government is less bothered about curtailing a lavish habit that has angered many Nigerians, who have called for cuts. The vote, which has sparked outcry since its first approval in 2011, will remain in place as the cost of running the Nigerian National Assembly, for 2015 and 2016, according to the government's Medium Term Expenditure Framework, despite a declining economic fortune that has already forced a cut in total national budget from N4.9 trillion to N4.6 trillion in 2014. The Nigerian assembly is regarded as one of the world's most expensive when measured against the standard of living of an average Nigerian, and the government's total revenue and spending. The N150 billion annual spending was three percent of the entire federal budget in 2013, while the United States,
