Singer Seun Oni aka Saeon has spoken for the first time about her relationship with Uti Nwachukwu. She says they are in love and it's no publicity stunt.  "I don’t like to put my personal business out there. I have known Uti for a while and he was in my only video. I met him prior to shooting the video because he helped me to bring some of the things I used in the video from England. We started talking, hanging out and then this. We are in love and he is a very honest person and also genuine. People would always say things about him which obviously are not true but that would not stop him from being him. He is God-fearing, very funny and of course, good-looking. This affair is no publicity stunt; even though I know Uti is a big brand and I am only an emerging brand." Saeon tells Punch

I was searching for an article that chronicles the allegations against Mallam Sanusi Lamido when a fan brought this piece to the attention of  S ource . The author breaks it down for easy understanding: I do not come to venerate Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, for he is not a saint. As much as I admire him, there are flaws too obvious to ignore. But this is not a time for psychoanalysis; it is a time to set truth apart from fiction. When the (suspended) CBN Governor made his submission on how our nation was being robbed at the Senate, the response was predictable; ignore the message, and go after the messenger.  I read the Financial Reporting Council report that formed the basis of Governor Sanusi’s suspension and I thought it useful to leave a few comments. While most of the accusations in the report are ambiguous and unclear, some of the more sensational are easily explained.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is expected to sign a bill today (Monday)  that criminalizes homosexuality, a government spokeswoman told CNN.The signing is expected to take place at 9 a.m. CAT. The Ugandan president has so unsure about signing the anti-gay bill  .Just last month he described them as  “sick” people who needed help, not imprisonment. Homosexual acts are illegal in Uganda and even  the penalties are now toughened , they   include  life imprisonment for certain acts. Museveni said that Ugandan scientists had determined there was no gene for homosexuality.Shortly after his announcement, U.S. President Barack Obama warned that enacting the bill would affect relations between the two nations. He described the proposal as an “affront and a danger to the gay community” in Uganda. It has been learnt that US  and Britain are among the nation’s largest donors.

Speaking on the mess that is oozing out of President Goodluck Jonathan's government, Sanusi Lamido told the AFP that Jonathan lacks the will to appoint truthful men and women, as he is surrounded by crooks. In the words of Sanusi: “ His [Jonathan] greatest failing obviously is that he is surrounded by people who are extremely incompetent, who are extremely fraudulent and whom he trust s.”
