I butcher human beings in 2 minutes, says Boko Haram chief killer

Image
A BUJA — The Chief Butcher of the Boko Haram sect, Zakari Mohammed Ardo, yesterday, gave a chilling description of how the terrorist group used to slaughter people they capture, saying it only takes him two minutes to butcher victims and enemies condemned to death. Ardo, who had been reported in some media (not Vanguard) as having escaped from Police custody, said the group’s butchering committee was made up of five persons of which he is the chairman, pointing out that the other members will hold down the already tired victim while he cuts off the head. Speaking through an interpreter in Kanuri, the ‘Chief Butcher’ who claims to be 30 years old and from Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State,  said: “I joined the Boko Haaram group two years ago. Before I was arrested, I have slaughtered five people.” Police parade suspect, debunk rumour of his escape Briefing newsmen on why self acclaimed “butcher” of the Boko Haram sect was paraded, Force Public Relations O...

Jay Z/Beyoncé divorce rumor/elevator fight was staged to sell $100m in concert tickets?

Image
That's what some folks think. Tonight August 6th is the last night of the North American leg of Jay Z and Beyonce's On the Run Tour, with two more shows in Paris to go, and according to Billboard, the tour has already grossed over $100 million. Now here's where it gets interesting...  Billboard published an article yesterday titled 'Jay Z, Beyonce and the Rumor Mill: Who's Pulling the Strings?' and they spoke with some experts who feel that not only is the divorce rumours all BS, that Jay Z didn't cheat on Beyonce. They also suspect that the elevator beat down with Solange was all staged...all in time for their first joint tour. They say the power couple wanted to be in the tabloids like never before...to sell concert tickets. And they've sold $100m in tickets, making $5.2m per night!  I don't know if I buy this story but read for yourself and see if it makes sense to you. Find it after the cut... CHIBOK GIRLS: US Surveillance Plane Spots Abducted Chibok Girls

Image
A United States surveillance plane has spotted what appears to be a group of girls abducted from Chibok by Boko Haram in April. The girls were spotted in July, raising the hope that their rescue is still possible, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, quoting U.S. officials. The girls were abducted from their dormitory in Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno State in the North-eastern part of Nigeria. Amid international outrage, the United States, Britain, France and Canada offered intelligence support and sent specialists to Nigeria. The effort has yielded little, while global attention has gradually receded. Over 50 of the girls have however escaped leaving more than 200 still in captivity. United States officials said the aerial surveillance also showed that most of the girls are still held captive by the group and have not been married off or used as sex slaves as feared and threatened by the group. The surveillance flights over northeastern Nigeria spo...

EBOLA VICTIM: Terrified relatives dump an Ebola victim on the street for fear of contacting the virus in Liberia

A young man lies dead in the streets of Liberia, left to rot in view of passers-by and local children. He is just one of many Ebola victims to have been dragged out of their homes and dumped on the country's roads by terrified relatives in a desperate bid to avoid being quarantined.  The deadly virus, which can cause victims to suffer from severe bruising and bleeding from the eyes and mouth, has claimed the lives of nearly 900 people across West Africa so far.  Today, Information Minister, Lewis Brown, said locals had started dragging their loved ones' bodies onto the streets out of fear that the new government regulations would risk their own health.  With less than half of those infected surviving the disease, many Africans regard Ebola isolation wards as death traps, he said.  'They are therefore removing the bodies from their homes and are putting them out in the street,' Mr Brown told Reuters.
