According to a CNN breaking news, 185 women and children were kidnapped by Boko Haram men during a raid on Gumsuri village in Borno state on Sunday December 14th. Men were shot, homes were burnt and women taken away. 32 people including the Chief Imam of the village were killed. Leaders of the opposition vigilante were also killed. Word of the attack was slow to emerge due to the destruction of telecoms towers in the community. Nigerian military are yet to react to this latest attack. But how do these terrorists take 185 people away? They come with many vehicles abi wetin?

Not the real image A seven-month-old baby has been found abandoned in a heap of rubbish near Lanre bus stop in the Igando area of Lagos State. PUNCH Metro learnt that the baby whose head was said to be unusually big was dumped in the refuse owing to an unknown ailment. It was learnt that a resident, who passed by the area, raised the alarm when he heard the cry of the baby. Our correspondent gathered that the discovery was reported to the police, at the Igando Police Station, who came to evacuate the baby. A resident, who identified himself as Segun Adesoye, told PUNCH Metro that he saw the child while he was being removed from the rubbish. Another eyewitness and food seller, who identified herself simply as Iya Oyo, said, “Nobody could move close to the baby.” The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, said the baby had been handed over to an orphanage. Angelina Jolie admits she's not terribly Internet-savvy, so to make sure her six kids are being safe online, she brings in professional help. "We have someone who monitors that," she tells  People magazine , explaining that neither she nor husband Brad Pitt have any sort of social media presence. "It's a scary world. The Tanzania man, Charles Mihayo, 36, who murdered his two daughters at his home in Melbourne on April 20th 2014 and then dressed them in floral dresses in an act of revenge against his ex-wife has been sentenced to life in prison.     According to prosecutors, after his wife divorced him, an angry Charles killed his own children just to make their mother suffer. He smothered Savannah, 4, and Indianna, 3, after playing with them. Though he was sentenced to life in prison, Charles is eligible for parole after 31 years. Charles, who has since regretted his action, has refused to go into details as to how and why he killed the little girls, only saying he deserves to be punished. On the day of the murders, the girls mother dropped them off with him, he then took them shopping for new clothes and shoes. What happened next isn't clear but Charles called the police to his home. A 32-year-old man, Chinyere Agoura, has been brought before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court for torturing his housemaid. It was learnt that the seven-year-old housemaid, Munachi Ibeaka, is the daughter of one Mrs. Patricia Ibeaka. Patricia was said to have given out the girl to Agoura, her cousin, who lives in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State, sometime in 2013 to relieve the burden of fending for her family of four after her (Patricia) husband died. Both the defendant and the widow were arraigned by the police before the court’s magistrate, Mrs. O.I. Adelaja. PUNCH Metro learnt that Agoura had made life difficult for Munachi who he reportedly tortured at will. Our correspondent gathered that his neighbours were forced to report the alleged child abuse to the Ajeromi Police Station when the punishment began to tell on Munachi.
