Why men want sex in the morning and women at night –Study

Image
It appears there is never a bad time to have sex, be it in the morning, afternoon or night, and being one of the most pleasurable obligations in marriage, couples have had sex at such times some people may consider ‘ungodly.’ Inasmuch as sex has no definite time or venue before it can be enjoyed, findings by some scientists have shown that men want it in the morning, while women want it at night. The question then is, why is it that men want sex and are good to go first thing in the morning while women often want to get in the mood late in the evening? In justifying their findings, the scientists attributed men’s early morning desire to two things – hormones and because sex could make a day better. The result of the study was published in mirror.co.uk. It is no news that men usually wake in the morning with an erection, feeling amorous, which is occasioned by the testosterone hormone in their body, and since a hard-on is also instrumental to sex, that ple...

FG’ll pay fuel subsidy for 40 days – Alison-Madueke

Image
Despite the recent reduction in the pump price of petrol from N97 to N87 per litre, the Federal Government has said it will still pay subsidy on the product for the next 40 days. The government explained that fuel consumed in Nigeria was “heavily subsidised” before the global crunch in crude oil prices, adding that it would take some time before subsidy on the product would stop. The Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, while explaining why the pump price of fuel in Nigeria did not reduce as soon as global crude oil prices plummeted, said Nigeria was importing against the global import prices for crude. She spoke during a Raypower radio programme monitored by our correspondent in Abuja. Speaking also on the price of diesel, the minister said the product’s price was been decided by market forces as diesel was not regulated by the Federal Government. “Bear in mind that we will still be covering subsidy cost for at least 40 days ...

Nobody should vote in the coming elections - Etcetera

Image
Some people have accused me of not liking politicians, so let me set the record straight. I don’t! They have done more harm to our nation than the military (their first cousins). At no period in our nationhood has the opportunity for reversing the dehumanising nature of a politically corrupt society like ours been greater. Every Nigerian who seeks freedom should rethink all temptations to rush to the polling station on February 14 in an attempt to further entrench corruption with a transfusion of his or her energies. Let us instead participate in a peaceful revolution to rescue this country from disintegration and death. It is better for any society that has been shredded by corruption to undergo a few headaches, fevers, and stomach upsets in the interim. It is better to rid Nigeria of her sickness once and for all than continue our habit of suppressing the symptoms which is exactly what we’ll be doing voting for the same crop of corrupt politicians in the forthcoming el...
