Yesterday, Morgan Freeman's 33 year old daughter E'Dena Hines, was stabbed to death on a New York street near her home. Her ex-boyfriend was arrested for the murder and was taken to a psychiatric home yesterday. The man has been revealed as 30 year old Lamar Davenport, (left). A man who saw the attack which took place around 3am, through his window called the police. Lamar was reportedly stabbing E'Dean and screaming: 'Get out, devils. In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast you out'. The aspiring actor had a history of drug abuse. He's currently at New York's Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center to undergo psychological testing before being questioned by police.

Rampaging hoodlums in Imo State, weekend, murdered a Claretian priest of the Catholic Church in Owerri. The priest, whose full identity could not be ascertained at press time, was an academic staff of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state.Confirming the incident yesterday in a telephone interview, Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Andrew Enwerem, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the priest was murdered by assassins on a bush path. On Wednesday, August 13th, 17-year-old Stella Kambi (left) died while trying to drag 14-year-old Bonheur Musungay from a flooded pit at Thorpe Marshes on the outskirts of Norfolk, UK. Stella’s effort was a waste as Bonheur also died. Stella’s sister Claudine, 16, who was part of the attempted rescue, luckily survived. Stella’s parents, who arrived in the UK as refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2008, are completely devastated at the loss of their daughter. “We will miss her so much and hope our faith will get us through. The Eziama Police Division, Aba, Abia State has arrested two kidnappers and rescued a victim, identified as Miss Rachael, in the city. Miss Rachael, who lives in Port Harcourt Rivers State, was allegedly kidnapped by the two suspects; Chinonso Samuel and John Kingsley, who hails from Amaiyi Nvosi community in Isiala Ngwa South local government of Abia State. According to the victim, one of the suspects who claimed to have missed his way approached her for direction on her way to Church on Sunday, 9th August, 2015, in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
