FORMER spokesperson to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani- Kayode said Saturday that him and others would join hands with the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu to collectively bring down those he termed, their collective enemies. In a statement, Fani- Kayode who extolled the qualities of Kanu, said that he is not just a combination of Owelle Nnamdi Azikwe and Dim Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: but a combination of Azikwe, Ojukwu and Major Kaduna Nzeogwu all rolled into one. ‘MMM-Nigeria’, a community of mutual financial aid and donations, on Saturday donated relief materials worth N5 million to two Internally Displaced Persons camps in the Federal Capital Territory. The gesture was part of the community’s humanitarian week tagged ‘MMM cares’ to mark its first anniversary. The Gwoza and Bama IDP Camps located in Durumi area and the New Kuchingoro IDP camp were the two beneficiaries of the relief materials. Bags of rice, beans, garri, as well as cartoons of beverages and noodles, were some of the items donated by the group. The group also donated clothing, drugs, and educational materials to the pupils among them. The Cross River State Police Command killed one suspected robber and arrested six others shortly after they attacked a micro-finance bank in Calabar on Tuesday, November 15th. The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Jimoh Ozi-Obeh, disclosed this to newsmen yesterday, at the command's headquarters in Calabar while parading the suspects. Police this week, arrested a 28-year-old Greek woman who ordered 3 kilograms of cocaine on behalf of a 42-year-old Nigerian man, who was also arrested. The drugs were confiscated at Athens International Airport from the luggage of a 33-year-old man who arrived in Greece on Thursday, on a flight from Sao Paolo via Zurich. The drugs(pictured) had been concealed in four packages in the outer casing of his suitcase, police sources said. Investigation is ongoing.

A 60-year-old man accused of raping and killing a young woman, was beaten, dragged and paraded naked by youths and women of Amaekpu, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, today, November 18th. According to Abia Facts Newspaper, while the suspect was raping the young lady on the farm, he insulted and mocked her for being a virgin and later killed her. He then informed the victim's friend to tell the family where they can locate the body. The man will be handed over to the Police but not until the community is done torturing him. Community of mutual aid and donation exchange popularly known as MMM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 donated about N2.5Million to hospital patients in Ibadan who are suffering from deadly ailments and without hope to settle their hospital bills. According to one of the members, Eleyele Benjamin, he said MMM’s “Save a life” Charity program is one of the reasons the group was founded. He said; “what we do in our community is providing help for each other.
