In a statement released on its website today, the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, has asked Nigerians seeking to buy forex for BTA, PTA, medical and school fees but are being frustrated by any bank, to call this number 07002255226 to report such bank.  According to the statement, some Bank customers have complained that since the apex bank issued a directive that banks should sell forex at N360/$1 to its customers (Read  here ), some of the banks have refused their request for FOREX, saying they do not have enough foreign exchange. Tragedy struck today as a recent IMSU Political Science graduate was shot dead at the school. The deceased, Ndubuisi Diego, was awaiting his NYSC posting when he was killed. According to the account of his coursemates who shared the story on Facebook, Ndubuisi popularly called Jboy had gone on a date with his girlfriend, then dropped her off at her hostel. He was escorting her to the entrance of her hostel when a rival cult group accosted him and shot three times. He died on the spot while two other people were injured.  The photo where he was wearing a blue T-shirt and a red hat was reportedly taken just moments before he was killed. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 arraigned the duo of Adegbite Adetoye and Ponnle Abiodun along with Origin Oil and Gas Limited Justice Silvanus Orji of the FCT High Court Apo, Abuja on an 11-count charge of fraud and abuse of Petroleum Support Fund to the tune of N735million. Adetoye and his co-accused allegedly conspired and fraudulently obtain the sum of N735, 132, 076.18 (seven hundred and thirty five million, one hundred and fifty two thousand, seventy six naira, eighteen kobo) from the federal government as payment for the importation of 15,000mt of premium motor spirit (PMS) which they claim to have purchased from Vitol SA and imported into Nigeria through MT Silverie.
