Yesterday - tens of thousands of Poles across Poland came out day and night to protest against control of the judiciary by elected party officials. If you don't know - The fall of communism started in Poland. You must have heard of Lech Wałęsa.

Many will say it's not possible because of tribalism. Most possibly true. But let us hold our Councillors, Local Government Chairmen, Members of the House of Assembly, Governors, Members of House of Reps and Senators accountable. Public office holders are our employees. We employ and pay them to serve us. They are accountable to us!


Nigeria will not change until we begin to really care about who we choose and how they fulfil their responsibility as public servants.
