Okorocha orders street traders to relocate to Relief Market, Owerri

OWERRI — Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has ordered street traders along Douglas Road and other streets within Owerri municipality to relocate immediately to Relief Market, Owerri.
Okorocha, who gave the directive when he made an unscheduled visit to Relief Market, also said the open sheds in the market were ready and would be open for the petty traders to occupy.
“The sheds would be provided for the traders at no cost. Application forms would soon be made available to the street traders,” Okorocha said.
