PHOTO: Embarrassment Averted! Barack Obama Prevents Michelle Obama's Wardrobe Malfunction

The president of the United States Of America, President Barack Obama, was once again on duty, this time not just as a president but as a husband when he came to the aid of his wife to avert a possible major wardrobe malfunction that was bound to happen as the first lady climbed on a plane on Houston yesterday.

Michelle Obama and her husband attended the Southwestern city to tour the LBJ Presidential Library, as well as the commemoration ceremonies for the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.
The happy couple were all smiles boarding Air Force One with grace and ease — and it was all thanks to Barack, that is! Her hubby was on skirt patrol, keeping her hem firmly down so that she didn't flash the world.


Michelle Obama had trouble on the way as the wind started to pick up. There was a huge opportunity for a tragic wardrobe malfunction to occur, but not on Barack's watch. Luckily President Obama was standing close by to wife Michelle, assisting her with any battle between her skirt and the wind.

The first lady was wearing a blue and black striped full skirt with a white top and matching sweater and a gorgeous pearl brooch. When the couple ascended up the stairs to board the plane, Barack was quick to react to the lifting skirt and placed his hands on her bottom to keep the skirt down.
