UN Cargo helicopter shot down in South Sudan, all 3 crew members dead

A UN cargo MI-8 helicopter with three crew members crashed today August 26th in Bentiu, a conflct zone in rural South Sudan. Local Sudanese officials say the helicopter was shot down by rebels. All three crew members were killed in the crash. 

"The government of South Sudan is profoundly disturbed by the loss of three UNMISS members who dedicated their lives to the service of humanity," a Sudanese local govt official said.
