Photos: Survivors of SCOAN building collapse rejoice

Amidst the chaos and pandemonium that ensued when a guest-house at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), suddenly collapsed in the early afternoon of friday, tales from miraculous survivors have begun to emerge.
“Thank You, Jesus”, a cry came out from the crowd of church helpers and rescue workers as bodies were brought out of the wreck hours ago”.
A woman, who was being stretchered toward an awaiting ambulance, waved her hands shouting “God of T.B. Joshua, you are wonderful”, she had been in the dark, under the rubble for over 24 hours.
Also, a small child and her mum were brought out of the wreckage alive.

“One thing you have to understand, 90% of those being rescued were eating or working at the bottom floor of the building when it collapsed. How they survived beats my imagination”, an official of Nigeria’s Emergency Management Association (NEMA) told journalists on the condition of anonymity.
“The situation could have turned out much worse”, another member of the rescue team namedSunday corroborated.

As at the time of this report, no fewer than 30 people had been brought out of the wreckage through the concerted efforts of the rescue teams. All were alive
