Vice chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Dimgba Igwe dies at 58
Veteran journalist and vice chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Dimgba Igwe has died. He died today from injuries he sustained in an accident.
The associate publisher of Entertainment weekly magazine was knocked down this morning by a car while jogging near his home in the Okota area of Lagos. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. He was just 58 years old.
Dimgba alongside his best best friend Mike Awoyinfa, pioneered the now rested Weekend Concord newspaper and The Sun Newspaper. He was also the Assistant General overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church, Lagos. May his soul rest in peace...amen.
