Abia State University Announces Tuition Fee Reduction
The Abia State University is reducing school fees by 20 per cent starting from 2014/2015 academic session.
The educational institution confirmed this today, December 23. It would be recalled that there was an increase in the 2012/2013 session, which caused serious argument between the students and the university authorities.
However now the Dean of Student Affairs of the university, Udo Nwokocha, officially announced that the reduction would touch upon all the faculties.
Young people felt excited about the news.
Israel Ahamefula, the President of the university’s Student Union, thanked the state government for making such a step.
“On behalf of the students, I thank the state government and the school authorities for the reducing the fees. This has been a long-awaited welcome development.”
