Photos: Trailer rams into Customs office building in Mile 2

A trailer this morning rammed into the Nigeria Customs Service command building in Mile 2 destroying a car and a motorcycle. The trailer veered off the road after 2 LASTMA officials allegedly dragged the steering wheel of the truck with the driver. Thankfully no life was lost.

Herdsman kills police officer in Kebbi

A police officer, Danladi, in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State has been killed by a herdsman identified as Babuga Kuaara. According to the Kebbi State Police Command, the slain officer was attached to the Kaoje Police division in the local government area. A farmer had reported Kuaara to the Police after cows belonging to the herdsman allegedly destroyed his farm. A witness who pleaded anonymity told journalists that the late officer was asked to arrest the herder who was still wandering with his cattle within the area, but he got killed in the process. “The police officer who came with his riffle, arrested the suspect, but as he was taking him to the waiting patrol vehicle, the herder drew his machete and stabbed the officer on his neck,” the witness said. “We saw the officer groaning in pains and bleeding but he died before we could apply first aid. Girl Who Escaped Opens Up: Boko Haram Rapés Us Up To 15 Times Everyday

As you read this, the over 200 female students abducted on April 14 from Government Girls School,Chibok, in Borno State are passing through hard times, with some of them being rapéd for as much as 15 times a day. One of the abducted girls who managed to escape made this shocking revelations. According Daily Mirror, “Families of the schoolgirls, aged between 15 to 18, are certain their daughters are now being used as séx slaves by an extreme sect that has killed 1,500 people since the start of this year alone. They are captives in the wild Sambisa Forest in north-east Nigeria where Boko Haram has a heavily armed camp of bunkers, tunnels, ramshackle buildings and tents.  “ One girl who recently escaped following an earlier kidnapping said she was prized as a terror leader’s wife because she had been a virgin .
