READ What Boko Haram Has To Say About France Attack


The leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau has reportedly released another video, hailing the attack on France over Charlie Hebdo cartoons.


The Islamist sect is said to have changed the way its sends video to reporters in Maiduguri by posting them on youtube and sending their links to journalists via email, Daily Trust reports.

In the latest video sent to reporters in the early hours of today, Boko Haram threatened “revenge” if new cartoons are released in France saying the group doesn’t “forgive.”

In the two videos sent to journalists, Shekau claimed that no one can be a Muslim if he doesn’t disassociate himself from democracy.

It could be recalled that the group was using email to communicate with journalists before security operatives began to pick up their spokespersons and before Maiduguri youths known as civilian JTF and the people of the town chased them out of Maiduguri.

Last week, gunmen reported to be terrorists stormed into a French satirical magazine named Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 people.

The attack had sparked worldwide criticism.
Two al-Qaeda-linked brothers suspected to be part of the attack were later killed in a clash with security forces in Paris, France.
