BREAKING NEWS: Buhari laments poll shift, appeals for calm

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari has called on all Nigerians to remain calm following Saturday’s postponement of the general elections from February to March and April.
Mr. Buhari just addressed a world Press conference at his campaign office in Abuja, saying he shared the pain and frustration of Nigerians over the shift.
He said although he considers the shift of the election a fraudulent attempt to subvert Nigeria’s democratic process, Nigerians should not be tempted into taking action that will further endanger the country.
He however maintained that the new dates fixed by INEC must be sacrosanct.
” Before us there is Nigeria, and long after we are gone there will be Nigeria,” Mr. Buhari said.

Mushin Violence: Serial Killer, Others Arrested By The Police

Toba and Muda The Lagos State Police Command has arrested alleged serial killer, Adigun Oriyomi, aka Muda, after five months of being on the run. The command also arrested two others, including the alleged gang leader in the Fadeyi area of the state, Toba Ajiboye. PUNCH Metro had reported that Muda was arrested last year for murder and was charged to court and remanded, but was later released. After his release, Muda was said to have gone after those who wrote statements against him at the police station and was said to be involved in about four more murders, including that of a pregnant woman and her three-year-old child in the Akala area of Mushin.
