Wife of Pharmacist who allegedly committed suicide released from police custody

Busayo, the wife of the Lagos pharmacist, Paul Olafare, who was arrested and detained following the death of her husband who allegedly committed suicide on April 12th, has been released by the police after spending 28 days in detention in Panti.
Busayo, who was arrested after a report was filed by her late husband's family, who suspected she had a hand in his death, was released on May 8th after the autopsy result carried out on her late husband was released. The police has however not made the result of the autopsy known.

As you read this, the over 200 female students abducted on April 14 from Government Girls School,Chibok, in Borno State are passing through hard times, with some of them being rapéd for as much as 15 times a day. One of the abducted girls who managed to escape made this shocking revelations. According Daily Mirror, “Families of the schoolgirls, aged between 15 to 18, are certain their daughters are now being used as séx slaves by an extreme sect that has killed 1,500 people since the start of this year alone. Herdsman kills police officer in Kebbi

A police officer, Danladi, in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State has been killed by a herdsman identified as Babuga Kuaara. According to the Kebbi State Police Command, the slain officer was attached to the Kaoje Police division in the local government area. A farmer had reported Kuaara to the Police after cows belonging to the herdsman allegedly destroyed his farm. A witness who pleaded anonymity told journalists that the late officer was asked to arrest the herder who was still wandering with his cattle within the area, but he got killed in the process. “The police officer who came with his riffle, arrested the suspect, but as he was taking him to the waiting patrol vehicle, the herder drew his machete and stabbed the officer on his neck,” the witness said. “We saw the officer groaning in pains and bleeding but he died before we could apply first aid.
