Already in anticipation for the new season....Lionel Messi is back in training ahead ahead of time. The four time Ballon d'Or winner came back with his Argentine teammate -Javier Mascherano, less than a month after their Copa America final defeat and a week ahead of schedule. 
The pair returned to the European champions' Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training base on Thursday alongside South American colleagues Dani Alves and Neymar for medical tests as they bid to get ready for Barcelona's Super Cup contests next month. 
Barca face UEFA Cup winners Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on August 11 in Georgian capital Tbilisi before taking on Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish edition over two legs on August 14 and 17.
