Nigerian Ambassadors not recalled — Foreign Affairs Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied the recall of ambassadors by President Muhammadu Buhari.
A spokesperson for the ministry, Ogbole Ode, told PREMIUM TIMES that the recall never happened as the ministry has no knowledge of such incident.
He said he spoke with the permanent secretary of the ministry who confirmed the news was a mere rumour.
He blamed social media and online news forums for carrying such information that do not emanate from the government.
There was a news report over the weekend that President Muhammadu Buhari had recalled Nigerian ambassadors.
According to the report, which first appeared in the traditional media, Femi Adesina, special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity had confirmed the news.
But Mr. Ode said the reports were all false.

Mushin Violence: Serial Killer, Others Arrested By The Police

Toba and Muda The Lagos State Police Command has arrested alleged serial killer, Adigun Oriyomi, aka Muda, after five months of being on the run. The command also arrested two others, including the alleged gang leader in the Fadeyi area of the state, Toba Ajiboye. PUNCH Metro had reported that Muda was arrested last year for murder and was charged to court and remanded, but was later released. After his release, Muda was said to have gone after those who wrote statements against him at the police station and was said to be involved in about four more murders, including that of a pregnant woman and her three-year-old child in the Akala area of Mushin.
