Abuja airport reopens one day earlier as Ethiopian airplane becomes the first to land (photos & video)
Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, Abuja has reopened after it was temporarily closed for 6 weeks to enable Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), carry out major rehabilitation of the runway at the airport.
Ethiopian Airline Airbus 350 landed successfully at the airport today, April 18th, 2017 at 11 am. There was a water cannon display to celebrate their successful landing. See more photos and watch the video below.
