Federal Executive Council meeting fails to hold

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which usually holds every Wednesday did not hold today.

As at 11am this morning, President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ministers and other government officials were absent at the Council Chambers, venue of the meeting.
The Presidency is yet to give reasons why the meeting did not hold.

Last week, Presidnet Buhari did not attend the meeting. This sparked fresh speculations that the President might have taken ill again. Minsiter of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, however dispelled this rumor. According to Lai, President Buhari had other engagements and so had to delegate the meeting to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
