Ikpeazu Gives Brand New Suvs To Abia State Judges

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu handed over 10 brand new KIA MOHAVE SUVs to judges of the State Judiciary today in Umuahia as gathered by Abia Facts Newspaper.

During the handover, the Gov. Ikpeazu made it clear that the welfare of judges is paramount to his administration as to enable the Judges dispense justice without fear or favor.

The Governor went further to state that more judges will get vehicles in the second batch expected to arrive shortly and said that if not for the precarious financial situation in the country, his plan was to ensure that all Judges and Magistrates are given brand new official vehicles to enhance their dignity and comfort.

While responding, Chief Judge of Abia State, Honorable Justice T U Uzokwe thanked the Governor for keeping his promises to the judiciary.

The Chief Judge said that in the finest traditions of the judiciary, the 10 vehicles will go to the 10 most senior Judges of the Abia State Judiciary which include Justices Onwuchekwa, Ogwe, CCT Adiele, K C Nwankpa, Abai, Ory Ikeorha, E U Kalu, etc.

Mushin Violence: Serial Killer, Others Arrested By The Police

Toba and Muda The Lagos State Police Command has arrested alleged serial killer, Adigun Oriyomi, aka Muda, after five months of being on the run. The command also arrested two others, including the alleged gang leader in the Fadeyi area of the state, Toba Ajiboye. PUNCH Metro had reported that Muda was arrested last year for murder and was charged to court and remanded, but was later released. After his release, Muda was said to have gone after those who wrote statements against him at the police station and was said to be involved in about four more murders, including that of a pregnant woman and her three-year-old child in the Akala area of Mushin.
