Orji Uzor Kalu Is Doing A Great Job For Apc – Oyegun

National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, last Friday, poured encomiums on former governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, who is also a top chieftain of the party, over what he referred to as Kalu’s good job in enlarging the coast of the ruling party, especially in the South East.

He said Kalu’s strides, nationally and internationally, has brought fortunes for the party and prayed for God’s wisdom to sustain his good works for the party and the nation.

Oyegun made the remarks in APC national secretariat, during a press briefing organised to welcome Chief Mark Wabara, into the party last Friday.

He said Kalu is one of the true leaders from the South East who knows the importance of the zone being a major player in the enterprise called Nigeria.

“His Excellency, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has done so much for us and I can’t thank him enough. APC is now vibrant in the South East and our challenges has been taken care of. We are also seeing your works all over social media and I want to congratulate you on the good job you are doing for our great party. The good things you are doing nationally and internationally and for the kind of motivational messages you are always extending to our youth. May God continue to expand you and give you the wisdom to continue playing the role that you are playing.”

Speaking on Kalu’s role on the sustenance of unity of the nation, Oyegun added: “You have been unequivocal about national unity at a time like this and that, also, we celebrate. When true leaders of the people stand firm and say we are better as one people and one nation, it simply shows it is the quality of people we really need. I am fully happy and, as far as the South East is concerned, there are a lot more that I may not say on a day like this, but, I am now convinced that the true leaders of the South East know the stakes. Being one of the true leaders of the South East, you know that it is important for the South East to be a major player in the enterprise called Nigeria.

“The true leaders of the South East know that they are part of the building blocks because they are all over the place.

The way they live and go about investing all over the country can only be done by people who believe in the essential unity of our nation space. “

On Wabara’s entry into the party, he further said: “ We welcome Chief Mark Wabara whom you have brought in as a member of our great party. The APC is a family that believes in people of passion, people who face challenges. Coming at a time when things look a bit rocky on the economy but you understand why and you understand what needs to be done . You also can see the future of a Nigeria that is a great nation .
