EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATION
Senate President Bukola Saraki read a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari on the submission of 2018/2020 Medium Term Expenditure Framework #MTEF.
Senate President Bukola Saraki also read a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari urging the Senate to pass the Bill for an Act to Establish the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

PETITIONS
Senator David Umaru raised two (2) Petitions from members of his constituency on
1. Unlawful dismissal from the Nigeria Police Force.
2. Termination of appointment from Central Bank of Nigeria.
Senate President Bukola Saraki referred the petition raised to the Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to report back in 2 weeks.
POINT OF ORDER
Senator Sam Anyanwu cited order 42 and expressed his worry about the Paris Club refund.
Senator John Enoh cited order 43 and called the attention of The Senate to a very serious security issue in Boki LGA of Cross River State which borders Cameroon.
Senate President Bukola Saraki said Committee Chairman on Police & Security should follow up on the issue and report back to the Senate as soon as possible.

2. Interim report of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Alleged Mis-use, Under Remittance and other fraudulent activities by Senator Adeola S. Olamilekan (Lagos West)
- That the Senate do receive the interim report of the Ad-Hoc Committee on Alleged Mis-use, Under Remittance and other fraudulent activities in Collection, Remittance and Expenditure of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by Revenue Generating Agencies.

Senator Ibrahim Gobir seconded that the Senate do consider the report of the Committee on Power, Steel Development and Metallurgy on the Hydro-Electricity Power Producing Areas Development Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2017 (SB. 89).

Senate President Bukola Saraki passed the Bill and all actions towards full implementation and take off of Bill would be carried out.
