Buhari, CAN leaders in closed-door meeting [VIDEO[

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met with members and leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting was attended by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, and Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

The meeting, being held behind closed doors at the council chamber of Aso Rock, was also attended by ministers, while the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, was represented by the permanent secretary, Ecological Fund Office, Habiba Lawal.

The president is also expected to meet with representatives of the Muslim community in Nigeria at same venue by 2 p.m. (NAN)

Mushin Violence: Serial Killer, Others Arrested By The Police

Toba and Muda The Lagos State Police Command has arrested alleged serial killer, Adigun Oriyomi, aka Muda, after five months of being on the run. The command also arrested two others, including the alleged gang leader in the Fadeyi area of the state, Toba Ajiboye. PUNCH Metro had reported that Muda was arrested last year for murder and was charged to court and remanded, but was later released. After his release, Muda was said to have gone after those who wrote statements against him at the police station and was said to be involved in about four more murders, including that of a pregnant woman and her three-year-old child in the Akala area of Mushin.
